How Much Does Wedding Bouquet Preservation Cost in Portugal? (Straight Answer)

From €300 for a 30x40 cm frame. What makes the price vary, what is included, how phased payment works, and when it is worth booking.

It is one of the first questions we receive, and it deserves a direct answer: preserving a wedding bouquet into a framed piece starts at €300, in the 30x40 cm format.

From there, the value depends on your choices. This article explains exactly what makes the price vary, so you can plan without surprises.

What makes the price vary

The frame size. We work with three main formats: 30x40, 40x50 and 50x70 cm. The larger the area, the more preserved flowers fit into the composition and the more pressing and design work is involved. A voluminous bouquet, where you want to see every flower in the frame, calls for a larger format; a more minimalist composition lives happily in a 30x40.

The extras. Beyond the main frame, many brides use the remaining flowers for additional pieces: small frames to offer to parents or bridesmaids, Christmas tree ornaments, necklace pendants. Each extra has its own value.

The finishes. Options such as the pyramid frame, or a special background (photograph, custom colour), can adjust the final value.

Up-to-date prices for every format and extra are always on our options and pricing page. There are no hidden values: what you see there is what you will pay.

What is included

The value is not just "flowers in a frame". You are paying for an artisan process that spans several months:

  • Receiving the flowers by hand, by post, or with pickup at the event venue (quoted separately)
  • Professional botanical pressing, flower by flower, with humidity control
  • Reconstruction of the flowers that arrive more fragile, petal by petal
  • Composition design, which only moves forward after your approval
  • Anti-UV museum glass, the single biggest factor protecting the colours over decades
  • A custom-made frame from a professional framing house
  • Online tracking of the process, step by step, through a private link

How payment works

You do not pay everything at once. Payment is phased throughout the process: a deposit to secure the date (May to September slots book out well in advance) and the rest split across the following stages, with the final part due only when the frame is ready.

What if it is a gift?

If you are looking for a gift for a bride, there is the gift voucher, from €300. The bride then chooses every detail at her own pace. We wrote about it in the best gift for a bride.

Is it worth the investment?

That is the honest follow-up question, and we wrote a whole article to answer it without marketing: is it worth preserving your wedding bouquet?

The short version: a bouquet wilts in days. A preserved flower frame with museum glass lasts for decades on your wall. For many couples, it is one of the few wedding investments still present every single day, years later.
